BEAUTY ESSENTIALS [Part 1]

HELLO LOVELIES<3 It's been a few days since I posted up a blogpost and recently Versace and Turquoise has gotten tons of pageviews (for my standards)!! I just want to say thank you so much to our readers:)
Anyway, someone asked me, or rather requested me to do a Beauty Essentials post. So here it is!:) I have actually done a beauty essentials set for Justice Keane in the past. It is basically the more affordable version of beauty necessities so if you want to see that, you could drop me a request on a more affordable version here:)
Now let's get on to the real post!!

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils: Milk Lait & Black Bean
I have raved about the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils countless times. These are extremely long lasting and crazy pigmented. The Milk Lait is great to use as a base for bright eyeshadow and Black Bean is awesome as a base for dark smokey eyes. It dramatises the effect. Both of them are matte so these are definitely more to my liking as I prefer matte eyeshadow/bases for casual events, in general. Moreover, Milk Lait can be doubled as a highlighter! Just run in on the top of your cheekbones and nose bridge, blend it out and you're good to go!

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream: Istanbul
Once again, a fantastic NYX cosmetics product. It keeps your lips soft while giving a tint of colour to it. I wouldn't say it is super pigmented, but I would say it is indeed pigmented enough (for my liking) for casual days. Definitely a great product to have in your makeup collection!:)

NYX Studio Liner: Extreme Gold
I personally feel that this product may not be an essential for all people, but it is for me! Although I don't use it on casual days, this would come in handy for special occasions. I swatched these on just a few days back and I was so tempted to purchase all of them. Stood there for about half an hour thinking about which ones to buy and I finally made the decision to purchase Extreme Gold. My reason for purchasing Extreme Gold is pretty simple: Gold is a very timeless and easy-to-match colour. It goes with absolutely everything and anything. Personally, I wouldn't want to wear this like a normal eyeliner. Instead, I would apply this on my lower lash line, connecting it to my black winged liner. I absolutely love this for special events:)

NYX Extra Creamy Round Lipstick: Baby Pink & Narcissus
Once more, another fabulous NYX product. The Extra Creamy Round Lipsticks are indeed extremely creamy and immensely pigmented! Baby Pink is pretty self explanatory: it's a baby pink colour. It's buildable and a teeny bit shimmery. Complements my skin really well in the summer time! Narcissus is a barbie pink colour. Nice product to use during spring time and currently obsessed with this product:) Overall, I am so happy with these two products. They are extremely pigmented, hydrating and buildable. Kudos to NYX cosmetics! I would recommend purchasing and trying out other shades, according to your preference!:)

Urban Decay Naked Palettes: 2, 3 & Basics
Finally moving on from NYX, we have the holy grail eye products! Many people comment on the price of these things, but really, if you take the total price of the palette and divide it by the number of eyeshadows you get, it is actually much cheaper than some drugstore eyeshadows! In addition, you receive a double ended brush (for Naked 2 & 3)! Very worth it, if you ask me. On a macro scale, the Naked 2 Palette is much more versatile compared to Naked 1. There is a jetblack colour in Naked 2 which really comes in handy for everyday makeup. Naked 2 has the very necessary eyeshadows needed and are more neutral than the eyeshadows in Naked 1. Hence, I prefer Naked 2 to Naked 1:) Naked 3 is a rosy toned palette. Ideal for an airy, ethereal, girly look. There are tons of Naked 3 reviews out there which are really useful! My favourites are here, here and here. Do refer to them as guides to using the Naked 3 palette!:) Naked Basics is well, a basic eyeshadow palette. It has absolutely everything you need. If you're a neutral person, this is the right one for you! All the eyeshadows in this palette are matte and I just find these so versatile and perfect. Currently saving up for this palette because the eyeshadows are worth it. However, if you already own the Naked 2, I don't recommend getting the Naked Basics, just because the Naked 2 already has most of the neutral colours. But of course, if you have the extra money and you really crave for the Basics palette, by all means, go ahead!:)

The Body Shop Body Butter: Strawberry & Peach
Oh my goodness, girls, I can't emphasise enough, how awesome these things are!! They keep your skin hydrated throughout the day, literally! 24 hours! They also smell awesome. I don't have much to say about these, but really, they are incredible. Whenever I travel, I always make sure that I bring one tub along! I strongly recommend this for anyone with dry skin issues:)

That's all for Part 1 of my Beauty Essentials!:) I will most probably upload the other one next week! At the moment, I'm in the middle of exams so I do apologise once again, if our posts are too slow:( If you feel that our posts are either too slow or too fast, do let us know! We will gladly accept your suggestions and work on it:) Someone has requested for us to do an 'Outfits for Interviews' post so Justice is currently working on it! I hope you've enjoyed reading this post and I will chat with you guys again soon;)
